Application Specialist

The Applications Support Officer role is a high performing engineering role within the ICT Platform Services and Support Section. The application services currently supported and delivered by the section are predominately underpinned by Microsoft Dynamics CRM (on-premise), SharePoint(on-prem), Intelledox Infiniti, and the .Net framework with some residual bespoke legacy applications in the environment. You will contribute to the enhancement, maintenance and support of applications and services by maintaining the technology platforms (including upgrades, patching and other sustainment activities) and providing support to varying stakeholders across the agency. Key duties and responsibilities As the Applications Support Officer you will be expected to: Enhance and optimise existing applications and services, resulting from a combination of business and ICT led initiatives. Plan, schedule and implement routine maintenance activities, including upgrades and other updates. Develop and maintain documentation relating to the configuration of and dependencies between applications and services. Monitor applications and services to identify and respond to issues. Supporting the agency’s use of the applications and services. There is likely to be an end-user training component to this role. Undertake other relevant duties, as guided by the team lead or section manager. Criteria The buyer has specified that each candidate must provide a response to each criterion.
