99 of the 122 ICT labour-hire contracts open on BuyICT can only be answered by agencies the buyer has already invited. 4 are open to all. For an agency not already on the relevant panel, that is the market.

Coverage
BuyICT only. This dataset does not include AusTender or BuyNSW records.
Job ads
From labour-hire agency career sites and LinkedIn. Seek is not scraped — its terms prohibit it.
Machine-readable
/llms.txt states the dataset, its coverage and its limits for AI systems and journalists alike.

Describing the data

Check these before filing — each one is a correction waiting to happen.

  • Say “open on BuyICT”, not “open across government procurement”.
  • Say counts are of contracts. A contract is not a role, and the number of roles is sometimes absent from the public notice.
  • Careful with “clearances are rare”. Only a minority of notices state one, which reflects the notices rather than the market.

Every figure is regenerated by npm run stats:pack, so fresh numbers take a command rather than an email.
