(Closed for invites) ServiceNow Developer Application Developer

We are seeking experienced and motivated ServiceNow developer’s to provide technical skills across business-as-usual (BAU) operational tasks and support project transition activities for new solutions onboarded. Successful candidates will play a key role in maintaining platform stability, improving service delivery outcomes, and contributing to the ongoing evolution of the department's ServiceNow environment. Key duties and responsibilities Non-technical: Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to provide technical advice, collaborate effectively across teams. Work with vendors and other stakeholders to support and continually develop the platform. Share knowledge to support platform operations and capability uplift across the team. Participate in Change management processes. Mentor and support team members by sharing knowledge, providing technical guidance, and assisting with problem-solving to build capability and ensure successful delivery of ServiceNow solutions. Technical: Provide ongoing support for end user service requests, incidents, defects and enquiries Analyse business and technical requirements and deliver scalable, maintainable solutions aligned with the platform’s standards, architecture and business requirements Investigate and resolve complex technical issues and contribute to the ongoing improvement and sustainment of the ServiceNow platform. Proactively monitor and maintain the ServiceNow platform to identify, investigate and resolve potential issues, ensuring system stability, performance and reliability. Implement user stories, enhancements and technical work packages, managing priorities and delivering quality outcomes with limited direction. Develop and maintain integrations, automation solutions and Service Bridge. Review, interpret and prepare technical documentation Participate in major and minor upgrades Criteria The buyer has specified that each candidate must provide a one page pitch to address all criteria specified. This is equal to 5000 characters. Essential criteria 1. Candidate must have ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) credentials. 2. Demonstrated experience developing, configuring and customising (where necessary) ServiceNow solutions, including a. ITSM and HRSD modules b. workflows, Flow Designer, business rules c. client scripts, catalog items, notifications and user interface components d. customer facing portals 3. Demonstrated experience of ServiceNow platform architecture, development standards and best practices to design, build and maintain scalable, sustainable solutions. 4. Experience developing and maintaining integration solutions including a. Process automations b. REST and SOAP APIs c. IntegrationHub, ServiceBridge and/or other related data syncronisation solutions Desirable criteria 1. Experience working with ServiceNow Protected Platform (SPP) environments. a. Knowledge of government security, accessibility and digital service standards. 2. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD). 3. Experience working in Agile delivery environments. 4. Experience with other ServiceNow modules such as ITOM, SPM, IRM, H&S and PSDS.
