Job description
***Note: the Agency has reached the limit of Sellers responses that can be received for this opportunity. The Agency will not be extending the RFQ to any further potential suppliers at this time*** The NIAA is looking to engage 3 experienced ICT Project Managers. It is possible that multiple Sellers will be engaged as part of this approach to market, rather than a single provider who can supply all positions. Key duties and responsibilities Lead and coordinate an assigned workstream within the ICT Transition Program to achieve agreed objectives, schedules and outcomes. Provide leadership and coordination across project leads, delivery teams and business and technical resources. Coordinate activities across multiple projects and workstreams to maintain alignment with program priorities and delivery schedules. Manage workstream plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, resources and implementation activities. Facilitate meetings, workshops, planning sessions and stakeholder forums. Manage and report on risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies and delivery impacts. Prepare and maintain governance artefacts including schedules, status reports, action registers, briefing materials and project documentation. Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, vendors, ICT teams and delivery partners. Support transition planning, implementation, business readiness and change management activities. Provide analysis, reporting and recommendations to support governance forums and informed decision-making. Represent the Program Manager and workstream interests in stakeholder engagements and governance activities. Contribute to continuous improvement of program management controls, governance processes and delivery practices. Criteria The buyer has specified that each candidate must provide a response to each criterion. Each response is limited to 3000 characters. Essential criteria 1. 1. The Potential Supplier’s (including Specified Personnel) demonstrated understanding of the services required, including identification of key challenges and management of risk. This includes clear evidence of experience in major government transformation programs, ICT transition activities such as the separation of ICT functions between agencies, governance frameworks, and complex stakeholder relationship management. Experience with similar ICT operational transitions or shared service separations will be considered an advantage . 2. The Potential Supplier’s (including Specified Personnel) demonstrated capability and capacity to deliver the detailed responsibilities to a very high standard and within the specified timeframes, including proven success in managing cultural change, technology adoption, and engagement across diverse government stakeholders. 3. The extent to which the level and structure of fees proposed provides value for money for the Australian Government. Desirable criteria 1. 1. Experience delivering ICT transition, digital transformation, infrastructure, cloud or shared services programs is highly desirable. 2. Project management qualifications such as PRINCE2®, PMP®, MSP®, Agile or equivalent are desirable. 3. Experience operating within Australian Government governance and program delivery environments is desirable.
