Senior Tester

Tester to carry out testing activities to ensure all work packages are tested and implemented successfully in production.  Key duties and responsibilities STEPS is a department priority, and is a 3-year, $140 million program, with a core objective to  undertake a range of activities to ease importation congestion. This includes streamlining risk assessments, inspections and treatments; working with industry to provide ongoing compliance and assurance; providing greater visibility of consignments; and greatly enhancing our usage and deployment of data. It is a cross-divisional program, which will require engagement across our digital and business landscape. Under the direction of the Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for:  Work with various stakeholders (Business and internal IT delivery team) to ensure all work packages are tested and implemented successfully in production.  Manage and contribute to the development and implementation of test strategies.  Manage multiple testing tasks across multiple systems concurrently.  Assist in development of automation test scripts where necessary. Development of test plans and manual test scripts based on system requirements. Development and/or maintenance of systems integration test scripts to test the end-to-end business process.  Creation and/or maintenance of necessary test data in support of test case execution.  Execution of test scripts in the Unit, System, and Integration test environments.  Writing, executing, and managing test scripts in all environments.  Assist with investigation and replication of issues identified from business testing activities or Production use of the system.  All other tasks as directed by the Delivery Manager, Business Lead, or SRO related to delivering / supporting the applications.  Adhere to all department policies and guidelines including information security.  Criteria The buyer has specified that each candidate must provide a response to each criterion. Engagement and collaboration with other technical staff such as developers, testers, business analysts, project managers, directors, architects Weighting: 10% 3. Experience in Azure DevOps Weighting: 10% 4.
