Manager Project Manager

Clean Energy Regulator (CER) requires a dedicated Project Manager to provide focused coordination and delivery oversight across a complex and interdependent program of work. The Project Manager will help translate strategic priorities into actionable work packages, backlogs and business cases that support CIO decision-making. This includes coordinating work, core platform planning, agile release train delivery improvements, system decommissioning, Rec Registry remediation and other emerging priorities. The CER may establish a merit pool of candidates assessed as suitable through the evaluation process. The merit pool may be used to fill future requirements for similar roles during the life of the merit pool, subject to business needs and relevant approvals.Responses must be submitted with Vendor Candidate Submission Template - Project Manager attachment, which will be distributed as an addendum Key duties and responsibilities Statement of Requirements The successful candidate will be required to:•    Provide project management, coordination and reporting support across a range of strategic, operational and delivery priorities.•    Work with senior leaders, delivery teams and key stakeholders to define, plan and progress agreed work packages.•    Track commitments, actions, dependencies, risks and issues across multiple workstreams.•    Prepare clear status updates, briefings, governance materials and progress reports to support informed decision-making.•    Translate strategic objectives into practical delivery plans, including schedules, backlogs and prioritised work items.•    Support the development of business cases, options papers and other decision-support materials.•    Identify and escalate blockers, risks or delivery constraints in a timely manner.•    Coordinate input from multiple stakeholders, including technical teams, product management and senior leaders, to improve visibility, accountability and alignment across delivery activities.•    Support continuous improvement activities, including identifying opportunities to improve delivery processes, governance arrangements and reporting practices.•    Assist with planning, prioritisation and agile delivery activities, including supporting ceremonies where required.•    Provide flexible project support for emerging priorities as required. Essential Criteria•    Demonstrated experience delivering complex ICT projects.•    Proven ability to negotiate with senior leaders, product and technical teams to influence project outcomes.•    Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.•    Practical experience working in an Agile environment, preferably SAFe. The Contractor Personnel will be required to attend quarterly PI Planning in person to support planning, collaboration, knowledge transfer, and other activities as reasonably required by the CER. The CER will not be liable for any travel-related costs or expenses unless it has expressly agreed in writing, in advance, to reimburse such costs. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the CER, all costs and expenses associated with travel, accommodation, meals, and incidentals incurred by the Contractor Personnel in performing the Services are the sole responsibility of the Service Provider and are deemed to be included in the Fees payable under this Contract.
