Job description
The Cyber Security and Networks Branch (CRB) within the Information Management and Technology Division (IMD) is seeking up to (5x) experienced Cyber Capability Delivery Managers to support the delivery of complex cyber security initiatives. The roles will work closely with business areas, technical specialists and external providers to deliver cyber projects and programs in line with agreed scope, schedule, budget and government requirements. The Cyber Capability Delivery Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the delivery of ICT and cyber initiatives, ensuring outcomes are achieved within agreed scope, schedule and budget. The role requires strong delivery management capability, effective stakeholder engagement, and the ability to operation in complex, multi-disciplinary environments, consistent with the APS EL1 Delivery Manager profile. Key duties and responsibilities Job specific role description: Lead the delivery of cyber security projects and programs using appropriate project, program and delivery management methodologies.Coordinate cyber assurance activities across architecture, governance, risk, compliance and audit functions.Manage risks, issues, dependencies and change control to support the successful delivery of agreed outcomes.Develop and maintain key project artefacts, including delivery plans, schedules, status reports and benefits management documentation.Support agile and iterative delivery practices to enable responsive, outcomes-focused project delivery.Provide clear, timely reporting and advice to senior stakeholders to support informed decision-making. The Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA) has been used to inform the requirements.
