Manager Project Manager

The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) are seeking an appropriately experienced Program Manager to take up the role of Delivery Lead for the ICT Fit Out stream under the Capital Security, Technology and Asset Refresh (CapSTAR) program. CapSTAR Stream 7 ICT Fit Out aims to remediate the department’s critical ICT property assets and reduce operational risk by uplifting the ICT fit out at DAFF sites across Australia.   The scope of ICT Fit Out includes but is not limited to:  Audio-visual / video conferencing equipment remediation and uplift in training rooms, meetings rooms and offices Site comms room, network equipment, structured cabling and WiFi upgrades Remote site internet connection uplift, resilience and redundancy upgrades End user compute and desktop equipment refresh and relocation  Works under CapSTAR have already commenced, with the CapSTAR program schedule extending out to June 2028. Key duties and responsibilities The key duties of the role include but are not limited to: Delivery – Managing the overall delivery of the ICT Fit Out stream and specific projects within the stream, including coordination with relevant individual project managers.Benefits Management – Ongoing definition, tracking and reporting of benefits realisation.Dependency Management – Stakeholder engagement and coordination with other partners and dependent CapSTAR streams.Scope Management – Managing project items relating to Stream 7 ICT Fit Out, including the drafting and updating of detailed scope and requirements documentation.Status Reporting – Information gathering and development of status reporting, in line with CapSTAR program requirements.General project and program management responsibilities in line with the business of the CapSTAR program of works.   The role will report to the Stream Lead of CapSTAR Stream 7 ICT Fit Out, currently a Director in ICT Services Division.
