Senior Snr Project Manager Project Managers

The ACCC is looking for multiple project managers to work under limited direction to lead one or more cross-functional project teams, and work closely with business users, technical staff, and vendors to translate business requirements into technology solutions. Project managers will prepare detailed work plans, manage a delivery schedule and budget, and oversee resolution of project and technical issues to ensure timely completion of agreed tasks.   This role provides an opportunity to work with interesting, knowledgeable, and delivery focussed people in a dynamic, exciting, and challenging environment that will enhance your skill set and allow you to contribute to meaningful decisions that affect the efficiency and effectiveness of the ACCC. At interview, candidates will be asked to advise of any potential or perceived conflicts of interest relating to this role within the ACCC. The successful candidate will be required to complete a Deed Poll - Confidentiality undertaking and acknowledgement of legal obligations upon acceptance of any offer, and prior to commencement. Key duties and responsibilities Lead the delivery of complex ICT projects using MSP, PRINCE2, and Agile methodologies Manage project risks, issues, scope, financials, and quality Coordinate technical and business resources to meet project milestones Monitor delivery progress across all project phases ensuring quality and governance compliance Drive procurement and vendor management activities Lead change management and stakeholder engagement across the agency Prepare project documentation, reporting packs, business cases, and investment proposals Provide mentorship, coaching, and guidance to team members Criteria The buyer has specified that each candidate must provide a one page pitch to address all criteria specified. Experience in successfully leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver large and complex ICT projects to deadline, using drive and initiative while responding flexibly to change and uncertainty. Weighting: 25% 2. A demonstrated ability to engage effectively and work cohesively as part of a team and with internal and external stakeholders. Weighting: 25% 3. Clear, concise and articulate verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence, persuade and negotiate particularly among senior executives and project governance bodies. Understanding and experiencing working on technology and/or data projects and modelling and mentoring the adoption of best practice system development (preferably Agile) and project management methodologies.
