Job description

The Internal Budget Section within the Financial Management Branch of DFAT's Finance Division are seeking an ICT labour hire resoure to fill the role of TM1 Systems Analyst / Developer to support the administration, maintenance and development of TM1 modules. Key duties and responsibilities Job specific role description: Work closely with DFAT’s finance and project management teams to provide ongoing TM1 support, including administration, maintenance and development of existing and additional TM1 modules. Undertake end-to-end TM1 project development and maintenance activities, including requirements gathering, cube design, rules, TurboIntegrator processes, TM1 Web Active Forms, security maintenance, training, Pulse monitoring and reporting improvements using Planning Analytics tools such as PAfE, PAW, MDX Views and Universal Reports. The Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA) has been used to inform the requirements. In summary, DFAT seeks a suitable candidate with the following relevant skillsets: Skills/Levels: Development and Implementation - Systems Development - Systems Design (DESN) – Level 5 Development and Implementation - Data and Analytics - Data Analysis (DAAN) - Level 5 Development and Implementation - Data and Analytics - Data Modelling and Design - (DTAN) - Level 5 Delivery and Operation - Service Operation - Application Support (ASAP) - Level 5 Criteria The buyer has specified that each candidate must provide a one page pitch to address all criteria specified. This is equal to 5000 characters. Essential criteria 1. • Strong experience using IBM Cognos TM1 to support finance, budget or reporting functions. 2. • Experience administering, maintaining and developing TM1 modules, including cubes, rules, TurboIntegrator processes, TM1 Web Active Forms and security. 3. • Experience using Planning Analytics tools, including PAfE, PAW, MDX Views and Universal Reports. 4. • Ability to analyse data and business requirements and produce practical reporting solutions. 5. • Strong communication skills, including working with finance and non-technical users to understand their needs. 6. • Current active Negative Vetting 1 security clearance, with Negative Vetting 2 preferred. Desirable criteria 1. • Experience working in a Commonwealth Government or public sector finance environment. 2. • Relevant qualifications or certifications in information technology, data analytics, business systems, finance systems or a related discipline are desirable. 3. • Knowledge of Commonwealth budget processes, ASL, salary budgeting, new policy proposals or related financial management concepts.
