Job description

Role/s: 1 x EL2 Business Architect The National Disability Insurance Agency, Office of the CIO (NDIA OCIO) is undertaking major work programs to deliver innovative fit-for-need ICT-based solutions to improve the National Disability Insurance Scheme. This role is responsible for ongoing enhancement of business architecture and appropriate business solutions across the Scheme participant, provider and partner domains, with specific focus on delivery of the service enhancement and digital transformation objectives on Salesforce CRM. Rate: The proposed rate should reflect candidate's skills and experience against the Evaluation Criteria. Candidates that do not demonstrate these criteria will not be assessed. Candidates should be aware that rates may be negotiated further as part of the selection process. Citizenship: As part of the eligibility and suitability requirement, NDIA seeks Labour Hire Workers who are Australian citizens only. Successful candidates will be required to furnish valid evidence of citizenship during the Pre-engagement Check. Labour Hire Licence: Applicable for ACT, VIC and QLD: Labour hire licences are required in the state that specified personnel are being contracted. Key duties and responsibilities Develop high-level designs and solutions that address business problems whilst aligning to agency architectural principles and strategic direction. Undertake key planning activities to identify dependencies, sequencing, and stakeholders across multiple programs of work. Enhance the business architecture based on the Agency goals and objectives. Apply architectural principles to business solutions. Liaise with business stakeholders and programs to understand business requirements and provide technology consultancy. Liaise with Solution Architects and Enterprise Architects to ensure expected business outcomes are achieved. Work with Solution Designers and Functional Consultants to develop End to End solution designs in line with business requirements and architectural principles. Define the data and process requirements to meet the business requirements. Work with wider enterprise architecture teams to agree on recommended solution for business problem statements with particular focus on Salesforce CRM. Represent Salesforce Business Architecture in organisation wide strategic programs. (NOTE: the key responsibilities of the role are based on current priorities and may change over time) Criteria The buyer has specified that each candidate must provide a response to each criterion. Each response is limited to 3000 characters. Essential criteria 1. Bachelor of Science/Business in Information Technology or equivalent tertiary qualification is mandatory. 2. At least 5 years of experience working in similar role in large scale Salesforce CRM implementations. 3. Excellent listening, communication, and stakeholder management skills. 4. Experience modelling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques. 5. Experience working on cloud-based projects, including working with digital transformation teams, UX/CX designers, and assistant technology enabled (Accessibility Compliant) applications. 6. Familiar with deployment in public and private government approved cloud and associated security considerations. Desirable criteria 1. Experience working in both Agile and Structured delivery environments and exposure to Salesforce Service Cloud and Insurance Industries. 2. TOGAF certified or equivalent IT architectural qualification. 3. Experience working in both Agile and Structured delivery environments. 4. Comfortable with new ways of thinking about accessibility and enthusiastic about accessible design & development will be highly regarded.
