Systems Analyst – Siebel designer provides specialised business and systems analysis services to support the delivery, enhancement and ongoing operation of critical aged care digital services. The role works collaboratively with business, policy, project and technical stakeholders to analyse requirements, develop fit-for-purpose solution designs and support the successful delivery of system enhancements, releases and operational improvements across the Siebel CRM platform and related systems. Overall description Systems Analyst – Siebel designer is responsible for delivering business and systems analysis, functional design and solution support services for the organisation's Siebel CRM platform and associated integrated systems. The role works closely with business, policy, project, technical and external stakeholders to understand business requirements, analyse impacts, and develop fit-for-purpose solutions that support the delivery and ongoing improvement of critical aged care digital services. Operating within a complex ICT environment, the Siebel Analyst contributes across the full solution lifecycle, including requirements analysis, functional design, build support, test support, implementation and post-release activities. The role supports both project delivery and operational sustainment, ensuring system stability while enabling enhancements, regulatory changes and reform initiatives. The position requires strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, a sound understanding of Siebel CRM and associated business processes, and the ability to manage dependencies across interconnected applications and technology platforms. Through effective stakeholder engagement and collaboration, the Siebel Analyst helps ensure technology solutions are aligned with business objectives and deliver positive outcomes for users and customers. Key duties and responsibilities The Systems Analyst – Siebel Designer will be responsible for: Partnering with business analysts and other staff at all levels within the department and external agencies to determine business requirements Negotiation of scope within technical and resourcing limitations Planning and facilitating workshops with business and external stakeholders to clarify requirements and present design solutions Working closely with architects, UX designers, product design assurance and developers to ensure solution and functional designs are feasible and follow established patterns and standards Developing & documenting detailed functional design specifications, user stories, mock-ups, diagrams and other design artefacts (Peer) reviewing colleagues' design deliverables, and confidence checks of built functionality Providing advice on the relative risks of project-related activities Coordinating the implementation of solution designs with relevant stakeholders Analysing and resolving design issues raised during development and post go-live Transferring skills and knowledge to departmental officers To be an effective ACG Systems Analyst-Designer working in a multi-disciplinary team, the candidate: is required to have: Minimum SFIA Level 6 Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in ICT 3-5+ years’ experience in IT systems analysis and design Prior experience working in the Australian Government, on large and complex IT systems should: demonstrate 5 + years of recent experience with Siebel CRM in any role, and demonstrate at least 2 years recently working as a Siebel Analyst-Designer. Extensive experience as a Siebel CRM designer, developer, or tester Criteria The buyer has specified that each candidate must provide a one page pitch to address all criteria specified.
