- APS6 or equivalent Benefits Officer -  The Agency has a mature Digital Health Benefits Framework that leverages the internationally recognised Quintuple Aim for Health Care Improvement to support the measurement and realisation of benefits arising from digital health investments and initiatives. The Agency is seeking an APS6 or equivalent Benefits Officer with experience in benefits management, evaluation, analysis and reporting. The role supports the Senior Benefits Officer (Analysis) in delivering benefits management, benefits realisation and evaluation activities across Agency programs, projects and digital health initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Benefits Officer (Analysis), the Benefits Officer contributes to the identification, measurement, analysis and reporting of benefits associated with digital health investments. The role supports the development and maintenance of benefits frameworks, methodologies and reporting products, assists with economic and qualitative evaluation activities, and provides evidence-based insights to support decision-making and demonstrate the value and impact of digital health initiatives. Key duties and responsibilities - APS6 or equivalent Benefits Officer -  Key outcomes for this role include: • Supporting benefits management and benefits realisation activities across Agency programs, projects and digital health initiatives. • Assisting in the collection, analysis and interpretation of benefits data and evidence. • Supporting the design and delivery of benefits analyses, including economic, behavioural and qualitative assessments. • Contributing to the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Agency's Digital Health Benefits Framework, methodologies, tools and reporting approaches. • Assisting with economic evaluation activities, including cost-benefit analysis, cost-effectiveness analysis, return-on-investment analysis and other assessment approaches. • Supporting the development and monitoring of benefits measures, indicators and evaluation frameworks. • Preparing reports, briefing materials, dashboards and other products that communicate benefits outcomes to a range of audiences. • Contributing to benefits assurance activities through the review and validation of benefits assumptions, evidence and reporting. • Building productive relationships with internal stakeholders to support consistent identification, measurement and reporting of benefits and disbenefits. • Supporting the development of an evidence base that demonstrates the impact and value of digital health investments. Skills and capabilities (Selection criteria) The successful candidate will demonstrate: • Experience supporting benefits management, program evaluation, performance measurement or related analytical activities, including the application of quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, analyse and interpret information from multiple sources. • Ability to contribute to evaluation and economic analysis activities, including cost-benefit analysis, performance measurement or related approaches. • Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with a range of internal and external stakeholders. • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, briefs and presentations for diverse audiences. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently under limited direction and deliver quality outcomes within agreed timeframes. Desirable • Experience in digital health, health economics, program evaluation, public policy, health services research or a related field. • Qualifications in economics, statistics, public health, evaluation, data analytics or a related discipline. • Experience using data analysis and visualisation tools to support reporting and evaluation activities.
