Senior Test Analysts

Role/s: 5 x APS6 Test Analyst The APS6 Test Analyst is accountable under broad direction to undertake work with a high level of complexity and/or sensitivity that delivers quality outcomes across the ICT support service functions of the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA). Rate: The proposed rate should reflect candidate's skills and experience against the Evaluation Criteria. Candidates that do not demonstrate these criteria will not be assessed. Candidates should be aware that rates may be negotiated further as part of the selection process. Citizenship: As part of the eligibility and suitability requirement, NDIA seeks Labour Hire Workers who are Australian citizens only. Successful candidates will be required to furnish valid evidence of citizenship during the Pre-engagement Check. Labour Hire Licence: Applicable for ACT, VIC and QLD: Labour hire licences are required in the state that specified personnel are being contracted. Key duties and responsibilities Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to: Participating in planning, preparing and delivering testing through the various testing lifecycles including System Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT) along with Regression Testing for product releases. Creation, management and execution of Test Cases in JIRA Producing reports, interpreting data and analysing results using standard statistical techniques. Supporting participants and their representatives including registered providers with UAT activities and BVT. Delivering impactful communication by translating technical and complex information clearly and concisely for diverse audiences. Building supportive, collaborative working relationships within and across teams, and engages with technical business areas to achieve outcomes. (NOTE: the key responsibilities of the role are based on current priorities and may change over time). Criteria The buyer has specified that each candidate must provide a one page pitch to address all criteria specified. This is equal to 5000 characters. Essential criteria 1. Proven ability to create, maintain and update Test Cases by understanding and analysing requirements: maintain these test cases across the phases of the Testing Lifecycle. 2. Exposure to test automation tools (such as Selenium and Playwright) and automation framework (such as Cucumber). 3. Detailed understanding of the Defect Management process. 4. Experience in using generative AI and driving spec-driven practices to enforce design-first principles, as well as designing and implementing safe and robust integration of generative AI tools within the software testing lifecycle to drive efficiency. 5. Exposure to the Agile Delivery methodology. Desirable criteria 1. Exposure to Test Management tools like X-Ray / JIRA / ALM. 2. Able to define key test & defect metrics.
