Manager Delivery Managers

The Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC) requires a Senior Technical Delivery Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of complex technology capabilities within a major transformation project. The role will be responsible for planning, coordinating and driving delivery across multiple technical disciplines, including enterprise data platforms, cloud services, application development, integration, cyber security, infrastructure, networking, analytics and automation capabilities. Working within a complex multidisciplinary delivery environment, the successful candidate will provide delivery leadership across technical teams, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure workstream objectives are achieved within agreed timeframes.   The ACIC requires specified personnel to: Obtain the ACIC’s Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA) prior to commencement.Have an Australian Government security clearance (AGSVA) to the minimum of Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) or be willing to undergo and obtain and AGSVA NV1 clearance.As directed by the ACIC, complete a Deed of Confidentiality or Non-Disclosure Agreement prior to commencement or comply with processes required to engage the Specified Personnel under section 48 of the Australian Crime Commission Act (2002). Note: Seller may be required to meet the cost of any security clearances Key duties and responsibilities Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of complex technology workstreams and releases.Develop and maintain delivery plans, schedules, dependency maps, release plans and implementation roadmaps.Coordinate multidisciplinary teams comprising architects, engineers, developers, data specialists, cyber specialists, infrastructure teams and external suppliers. Drive delivery outcomes using Agile and hybrid delivery approaches, ensuring ceremonies, artefacts and controls are proportionate and support delivery transparency, effective decisions and continuous improvement.Support the integration of DevSecOps practices into technical delivery, coordinating across delivery, cloud, cyber security, infrastructure and assurance teams to embed security and operational considerations throughout the delivery lifecycle.Apply technical judgement to test delivery assumptions, identify cross-domain impacts and ensure delivery plans and commitments appropriately reflect technical constraints, dependencies and uncertainty.Identify, manage and resolve delivery risks, issues, constraints and dependencies.Facilitate planning increments, sprint planning, backlog refinement, release planning and delivery reviews.Work closely with Product Owners, Technical Leads and Solution Architects to convert technical designs into practical delivery outcomes.Coordinate delivery across cloud platforms, enterprise applications, integration services, data platforms and supporting technology services.Manage cross-team and cross-project dependencies to ensure delivery objectives remain achievable.Prepare and present delivery status reports, forecasts and executive briefings.Represent the workstream at governance forums, program planning activities and stakeholder meetings.Manage vendor and supplier deliverables and ensure external dependencies are effectively coordinated.Support testing, deployment, implementation and transition activities.Facilitate decision-making across technical and business stakeholders.Ensure delivered solutions comply with organisational governance, architecture, cyber security and assurance requirements.Provide leadership, coaching and coordination across delivery teams to promote high-quality delivery outcomes.
