Integration Engineer

The AEC is seeking experienced .NET Enterprise Integration (EI) Developers to design, develop, support and modernise enterprise integration solutions across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. The role will contribute to the delivery of secure, scalable and resilient integration services connecting enterprise applications, data platforms, and external organisations and companies using integration technologies and modern API-driven architectures.The candidate must have an active NV1 security clearance. Key duties and responsibilities .NET EI Developers will be responsible for, but not limited to: •Participating in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications, integration solutions, and associated documentation in accordance with AEC standards. • Designing, developing, and supporting secure, scalable, and reusable integration solutions, APIs, and services using .NET and the Microsoft technology stack. •Following Agile software development methodologies and contributing to delivery planning, estimation, and continuous improvement activities using Azure DevOps. •Collaborating with solution architects, business analysts, and technical teams to define requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions. •Liaising with technical and business stakeholders to facilitate the timely resolution of issues, incidents, and defects across production and non-production environments. •Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimising application and integration services to improve reliability, performance, and maintainability. •Providing analysis on complex technical and business issues and contributing to project delivery, planning, and decision-making activities. •Developing and maintaining productive stakeholder relationships while providing specialist advice, guidance, and reporting. •Utilising Azure DevOps to manage work priorities and actively participating in peer code reviews and pull request (PR) processes to promote quality and knowledge sharing. •Contributing to election readiness activities and performing additional responsibilities as required by the relevant Director, Team Leader, or delegate.
