Senior Scrum Master

Scrum Masters support the delivery team, and monitor and improve performance of the team. They use agile methodologies, learning and iterating the product and processes frequently to meet user needs. They work with Delivery Managers to remove blockers and support the delivery team so that they can maintain delivery throughput. Services Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master with a strong technical and cyber security background to manage, coordinate and deliver its cyber security compliance work packages.  This involves the coordination and governance of scanning / patching of all components in the service path as well as facilitating the delivery of a range of other cyber deliverables across enabling agency areas.  A technical background with proven delivery experience in cyber security / cyber security projects would be highly desirable. Key duties and responsibilities Duties and responsibilities may include: Managing the delivery of cyber security work packages required under the Digital ID Act 2024 Running daily standups Coaching team members Managing Triage processes for daily scan results and overseeing coordinating patching / governance processes across the relevant ICT stakeholders Ensuring that SLAs are met for Essential 8 patching and scanning Knowledge/Qualifications Agile Certification Cyber Security Criteria The buyer has specified that each candidate must provide a one page pitch to address all criteria specified. This is equal to 5000 characters. Essential criteria 1. 3 years + experience as a Scrum Master in Agile 2. 3 years + experience with Jira Desirable criteria 1. Cyber security project experience or Essential 8 2.
