Senior Data Analysts

The Data Business Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, Business Analysts, Architects and project teams to define data, analytics and reporting requirements. The role will support data integration and migration between ASIC systems, including developing data mappings, transformation rules and interfaces, while ensuring data integrity, security and accessibility. The analyst will also support data migration, system and integration testing, user acceptance testing, and ensure solutions meet business, operational and customer needs. The role requires a minimum of five years’ experience in data or business analysis, with strong capability in complex data environments. Key technical skills include data modelling, profiling, cleansing, migration, reconciliation, Data Vault 2.0, ERWIN, Collibra, SQL, SSRS, SSIS, Python, Power BI or Qlik Sense. The successful candidate should also have strong Agile experience, analytical and problem-solving skills, effective stakeholder communication, and the ability to work independently and take accountability for outcomes. Key duties and responsibilities Working closely with business stakeholders to provide consulting & document business requirements for data, analytics & reporting Working closely with Business Analysts and Architects, and wider project team members to analyse data required to be moved been ASIC systems and to establish operational data stores to support business intelligence and analytics Design and document the data mapping artefacts, data interfaces (including transformation logic) between ASIC systems Ensure data access, integration, integrity and security requirements for the project are met Assist in the planning, coordination, execution and testing of data migration/load activities Support System and Integration Testing as well as User Acceptance Testing as required during test planning and execution Liaising with customer facing groups as needed to understand client and customer needs in a rapidly evolving environment Ensuring that the IT solution will satisfy the business needs in a cost effective, resilient and operable fashion Ensuring solutions do not impose security risk to the Business Follow ASIC Data Business Analyst capability framework, procedures & methodology in delivering project Criteria The buyer has specified that each candidate must provide a one page pitch to address all criteria specified.
