Senior Data Engineers

Data Engineers prepare raw data for analytical or operational uses. They make data accessible so that it can be used for optimisation, delivery of services and enhanced analytics solutions. Key duties and responsibilities Support data management solutions to ensure that data users across ASIC have access to timely and trusted information. Maintain, test and evaluate large-scale data processing solutions (in both batch and real-time modes). Ongoing support of the data infrastructure (Cloud Platform, Data Lake & DataMarts and Dashboards) Monitor the performance of the data platform and advise of any infrastructure changes required to maintain performance benchmarks. Provide expertise and practical support in developing data platform solutions. Implement ETL processes/pipelines, using CI/CD processes. Support data projects and initiatives with data engineering services (developing/implement/support). Collaborate with system owners to ensure that data is available and interface with representatives of functions and business units on requirements and delivery of solutions. Support the development and implementation of Solution Design and Big Data Platform approaches (developing/ system integration/ pre-production/ production /support). Communicate with and report to the leadership on issues related to data technologies, data usage, project planning, prioritization, and budget/timeline estimates. Resolve Data incidents.
