Test Lead

Role: EL1 Test Lead GUIDANCE NOTES The experience level for this role is EL1. Candidates submitted on LH-07739 will not be considered for this role therefore should not be submitted. The National Disability Insurance Agency, Integrity Transformation and Technology Services (ITTS) Group is undertaking major work programs to deliver innovative fit-for-need ICT-based solutions to improve the National Disability Insurance Scheme. We are seeking a passionate experienced EL1 Test Lead (Labour Hire) to join the Scheme CRM Platforms Branch. The EL1 Test Lead (Labour Hire) will lead and conduct testing activities across ITTS Group branches. Working closely with the Test Manager to ensure test strategy and standards are in place. Rate: The proposed rate should reflect candidate's skills and experience against the Evaluation Criteria. Candidates that do not demonstrate these criteria will not be assessed. Candidates should be aware that rates may be negotiated further as part of the selection process. Citizenship: As part of the eligibility and suitability requirement, NDIA seeks Labour Hire Workers who are Australian citizens only. Successful candidates will be required to furnish valid evidence of citizenship during the Pre-engagement Check. Labour Hire Licence: Applicable for ACT, VIC and QLD: Labour hire licences are required in the state that specified personnel are being contracted. Key duties and responsibilities Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to: Manage test delivery with vendors and internal staff to ensure that across projects the delivery remain within scope, schedule, cost, and quality targets as defined with project teams. Test SME with an in depth understanding of Test tools Analyse and report on test activities and results, and escalating issues and risks to project management. Develop test plans, test cases and supporting test data and/or requirements, under own direction from the specifications. Contribute to team improvement initiatives and projects, including team tools, process changes, and test automation. Identify, manage and document defects, programming errors and operational characteristics that are inconsistent with stated requirements and design specifications. Accurately record time and effort for test case. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective and timely implementation of projects. Manage Defect Triages and meetings. Coordinate with business teams and supports them during UAT. (NOTE: the key responsibilities of the role are based on current priorities and may change over time) Criteria The buyer has specified that each candidate must provide a one page pitch to address all criteria specified. This is equal to 5000 characters. Essential criteria 1. Experience leading testing activities for complex programs and creating Test Summary reports. 2. Agile testing experience with team member accountability to commitment and delivery each sprint. 3. Extensive experience using test management tools including Jira Xray and CRM, specifically Salesforce. 4. Analytical skills and problem-solving skills needed to manage multiple factors on a project simultaneously. 5. Strong Test Automation experience working with automation testm members. 6. Exposure to AI tooling to drive test efficiencies Desirable criteria 1. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). 2. Demonstrated experience working for large organisations on complex software deployments. 3. Other relevant experience in a related technical field (application development, Database development, deployment/implementation and infrastructure). 4. Comfortable with new ways of thinking about accessibility and enthusiastic about accessible design & development will be highly regarded.
