Senior Business Analyst Business Analyst

The ACCC are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Business Analysts with a strong track record of project delivery. To align with the current scope of work, two alternative skillsets are being targeted. Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Dynamics / PowerApps; is required. The right candidate will join a high performing team with a reputation for getting things done. At interview, candidates will be asked to advise of any potential or perceived conflicts of interest relating to this role within the ACCC. The successful candidate will be required to complete a Deed Poll - Confidentiality undertaking and acknowledgement of legal obligations upon acceptance of any offer, and prior to commencement. Key duties and responsibilities The successful Senior Business Analysts will work under broad direction and be responsible for: Gathering, validating and documenting business requirements; Modelling business processes and identifying opportunities for process improvements; Identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions; Generating information and insights from data and identifying trends and patterns. Act as the key liaison between stakeholders, testers, developers and project teams The Senior Business Analyst will play a role in all parts of the project and development lifecycle including user story/use case development, supporting business transition and helping to establish change.  Criteria The buyer has specified that each candidate must provide a one page pitch to address all criteria specified. This is equal to 5000 characters. Essential criteria 1. A proven ability to prepare high quality business analysis deliverables and apply structured business analysis techniques and critical thinking to business problems. 2. A proven ability to deliver large, concurrent deliverables to deadline, using initiative and responding flexibly to change and uncertainty 3. A demonstrated ability to engage effectively and work cohesively with internal and external stakeholders 4. Clear, concise, and articulate oral and written communication skills, with the ability to influence, persuade and negotiate 5. Proven experience facilitating workshops and managing diverse stakeholder groups 6. Demonstrated experience in either of the following: 1. Microsoft Dynamics / PowerApps; or 2. ServiceNow and service catalogue management. Desirable criteria 1.
