Job description

The Senior Project Coordinator role exists to coordinate the tasks required to define and shape projects and will manage the operational reporting needs for the Corporate Systems Lifecycle (CSL project). The role will be expected to interact effectively across a diverse range of ICT experts, policy development, technical writing, procurement and PMO (Project Management Office) functions. The Senior Project Coordinator will be expected to operate as part of the support structure of the Leadership team within Delivery Enablement. Commitment to APS Values, Employment Principles, Code of Conduct and the Bureau's Social Justice Strategy. Coordinate the tasks required to define and shape projects. Manage the operational reporting needs of the Planning & Shaping Manager. Interact effectively across ICT experts, policy development, technical writing, procurement and PMO functions. Meet deadlines, sustain high-quality outputs, marshal broad expertise towards common outcomes and maintain a meticulous approach to documentation and processes. Operate as part of the support structure of the Leadership team within the Delivery Enablement team. Utilise expertise to enhance the overall outcomes of the program. Knowledge and Skills Required Mandatory Effective communication and stakeholder management skills Attention to detail and ability to produce documents or reports to a high standard Exceptional organisational skills and disciplined work approach Ability to adapt to continually changing demands and priorities Advanced SharePoint skills Advanced MS Office - including Word, Excel, Access, Project, PowerPoint Minimum of 3 years' experience as Project/Program Coordinator Demonstrated experience working with multiple managers and broad stakeholders Candidates are expected to have worked within similarly large, complex programs of work, have relevant experience as a Program/Senior Project Coordinator and have a proven track record of delivering under deadlines and amongst broad stakeholder groups The candidate must state their agreement to have or obtain, at Bureau expense, a baseline security clearance   Desirable Experience within a large, complex multi-year transformation program Experience with a scripting or programming languages (ie vba) Experience with automation SharePoint (PowerApps & Flows) Previous experience in both the establishment and delivery phases of multi-year technology refresh and/or transformation programs; and Excellent project domain knowledge Criteria The buyer has specified that each candidate must provide a response to each criterion.
