Senior Mulesoft Developers

Role/s: 3 x EL1 Mulesoft Engineer The NDIA, Technology Services Division is undertaking major work programs to deliver innovative fit-for-need ICT-based solutions to improve the National Disability Insurance Scheme. We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic MuleSoft Developer to join the Technology Services Division (TSD). You will contribute to the development and implementation of solutions which improve the NDIS through better Participant experience and a more effective Scheme.   Supplier Briefing: A supplier briefing will not be held for this role Rate: The proposed rate should reflect candidate's skills and experience against the Evaluation Criteria. Candidates that do not demonstrate these criteria will not be assessed. Candidates should be aware that rates may be negotiated further as part of the selection process. Citizenship: As part of the eligibility and suitability requirement, NDIA seeks Labour Hire Workers who are Australian citizens only. Successful candidates will be required to furnish valid evidence of citizenship during the Pre-engagement Check. Labour Hire Licence: Applicable for ACT, VIC and QLD: Labour hire licences are required in the state that specified personnel are being contracted. Key duties and responsibilities Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to: Apply your MuleSoft 4 experience to develop experience, process and system API assets. Collaborate with Architects, Integration Analysts, Designers, BA’s and Testers to interpret the end-to-end integration design and technical specifications to build the integration solution. Help formulate and support quality integration standards. Contribute to the specification preparation of data integration, both content and structure, for end-to-end replication from source to target systems. Monitor relevant systems and associated integration performance and conduct tuning activities to maintain the optimum performance. Develop reusable assets and components in line with the standards and patterns applied across the whole project. Execute configuration testing and documentation and support the SIT effort. Facilitate training and knowledge transfer to support the service transition to the BAU support team. Adhere to the incremental delivery approach to enable the project to deliver early and continuously.   (NOTE: the key responsibilities of the role are based on current priorities and may change over time) Criteria The buyer has specified that each candidate must provide a response to each criterion. Each response is limited to 3000 characters. Essential criteria 1. Proven experience integrating MuleSoft 4 platform in a complex ICT environment. 2. Proven experience in designing and delivering REST based services and asynchronous eventing including design of APIs. 3. Formal certifications and evidence of 3–5 years’ experience in integration development 4. Proven experience in Agile CI/CD development and working within a DevOps environment 5. Proven experience working in a multi-disciplinary team, building rapport and managing stakeholder expectation Desirable criteria 1.
