Senior D365 / Full Stack Application Developer

Treasury has multiple business critical Dynamic 365 solutions in place requiring enhancement or re platforming, spanning over the next 2 financial years.  We are looking for a full stack developer (with particular strengths in Dynamics365) to work embedded within our professional team in the Information Services Branch. The developers’ role will include supporting existing production systems, whilst continuing to implement small to large enhancements. Additionally, the requested resource will be involved in the maintenance of other Treasury’s Dynamics applications. Key duties and responsibilities The successful applicants will provide excellent stakeholder engagement and subject matter expertise in: Power Platform and Dynamics 365 CRM .NET application development including ASP.NET web application portal development and integration patterns such as Azure Functions and Power Automate Collaboration with internal support teams and vendors to deliver outcomes Documentation of IT systems, including as-built and operational support documentation Azure DevOps and pipeline automation  The role will be hands-on, across the entire software development lifecycle. The work will be dynamic, varied and flexible, and the successful applicants will play a strong part in steering the direction of work and the work of the team.   Soliciting, analysing and shaping stakeholder requirements and providing as-built requirement traceability to future state requirement outcomes  Developing of non-functional and functional requirements documents  Developing, communicating and validating ICT Solution designs  Providing technical oversight of detailed design activities and implementation  Ensure stakeholder and technical testing strategies and plans adequately cover functional requirements in liaison with embedded teams  Providing technical leadership liaison for system integration teams  Developing implementation and transition plans where necessary  Assisting project managers to transform technical plans into project schedules and, where needed, coordinating technical work performed by other teams.  Apply TOGAF and/or other industry methodologies to design and develop high level and detailed end to end solution architecture for Branch and business initiatives covering application, Information, infrastructure and security, technology standards and principles to ensure fit against current and strategic business needs.  Liaise with the Technical Design Authority on potential solution architecture designs and proactively participate in peer review, including assuring business level solution designs  are technically aligned with the Treasury current and future state environments, meets requirements and contributes to business outcomes as planned.  Criteria The buyer has specified that each candidate must provide a response to each criterion. Each response is limited to 3000 characters. Essential criteria 1. Minimum 5 experience developing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions. 2. Strong full-stack development capability using .NET, ASP.NET and API technologies 3. Demonstrated understanding of secure software development practices, quality assurance and compliance within enterprise ICT environments. 4. Demonstrated Federal Government experience implementing and supporting business critical applications. 5. Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and documentation skills in complex enterprise environments 6.
