Senior Senior Network Engineer

The maximum daily rate for this position is $1,350 (excl. GST).  We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to provide backfill support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across branches, datacentres and cloud environments. This role is primarily focused on operational support, incident resolution, troubleshooting, network infrastructure deployment, maintenance, and network service improvements within a complex enterprise environment. Key duties and responsibilities Key Responsibilities Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for enterprise network infrastructure. Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, wireless and datacentre network environments. Diagnose and resolve network incidents, performance issues and service disruptions. Support and install firewalls, routing, switching, load balancing and network security platforms. Perform network upgrades, patching, maintenance activities and lifecycle management. Support network services across on-premises and Microsoft Azure environments. Manage incidents, service requests, problems, and change activities in accordance with ITIL processes. Perform root cause analysis and maintain operational documentation. Must-Have Skills Proven experience as a Senior Network Engineer in large enterprise environments. Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies. Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet firewall and access control technologies. Experience supporting Cisco Nexus environments. Strong troubleshooting skills across TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs and enterprise WAN technologies. Experience supporting enterprise wireless networks and controllers. Strong incident, problem and change management experience. Desirable Skills Experience with FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer. Experience with Cisco ISE and Cisco DNA Center. Experience supporting F5 load balancing platforms. Experience supporting Azure network connectivity and hybrid environments. Other Notes Must be willing to travel interstate to APRA Branch offices and datacentres Must be willing to work outside of normal office hours for maintenance and implementation activities.
