Senior Software Engineer (Developer)

Software Engineers have experience overseeing software development projects, writing optimised code, and provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers. They are responsible for the quality and functionality of the software produced by their team simple.As a SAP Senior Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing maintaining and testing SAP solutions that support DVA’s business processes. You will work closely with Analysts, functional consultants and other IT specialists to deliver high-quality, secure and efficient SAP applications in line with government standards. Knowledge and Qualifications: Demonstrated practical experience in ECC to S/4HANA upgrade, migration, or remediation work within large and complex enterprise environments.  Key duties and responsibilities Duties and responsibilities may include some or all of the following: Develop, configure and maintain SAP modules.Analyse business requirements and translate them to technical specifications.Design, code test and implement SAP enhancements, report and interfaces.Support integration between SAP and other enterprise systems.Identify, investigate and resolve SAP related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.Provide technical advice and mentoring to junior developers.Participate in system upgrades, patching and performance testing.Prepare and maintain technical documentation.Developer and deliver on projects within the assigned area of responsibility.Perform cost analysis activities as required.Work collaboratively and embrace agile ways for working.
