Data, coverage and citation

erecruit publishes two datasets. This page states what each one contains, what it excludes, the licence it carries, and how to cite it — so a quotation can be checked against the record rather than against the page that quoted it.

Open opportunities

Every open ICT labour-hire opportunity on BuyICT's ICT Labour Hire marketplace, matched to the job ads labour-hire agencies are running against them. Coverage is that one marketplace — one of the eight BuyICT publishes. Professional & Consulting, Software & ERP, Cloud, Telecommunications, Data Centre, Hardware and Requests for Information are out of scope, as is BuyNSW. See open opportunities.

Awarded contracts

Contract notices published on AusTender, retrieved through the Department of Finance's Open Contracting Data Standard API. Two slices are held — personnel (temporary personnel services, personnel recruitment) and ICT services. Hardware, leases and other government purchasing are excluded, so the award figures are not whole-of-government; amendments are excluded from counts. AusTender material is subject to change and must be verified at tenders.gov.au. See government spend.

Licence

The underlying contract facts are public Australian Government procurement records. AusTender material is published under Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Australia (CC BY 3.0 AU).

How to cite

You may quote and cite the contract facts. Attribute them to erecruit, link the page you took them from, and include the retrieval date — close dates and invitation status change. For example:

erecruit, “Government spend”, https://erecruit.io/spend (retrieved 7 October 2026).

Two caveats worth passing on: a close date can be extended by the buyer after publication, so confirm against the original BuyICT notice before relying on one; and a security clearance is stated as the notice asks for it, which is not a claim about any candidate.

Machine-readable

What is not for reuse

The agency-to-contract match scores and the evidence behind each match are computed by erecruit and are the paid part of the product. Pages under /user are private and served noindex.
